Large Milk Bottle

Picked this bottle up at a local antique store. It's about 18inches tall and 8inches wide. On the front it has Milk with a star under it and then 1890. On the back is a cow standing in grass and a star on the base. Anyone have any information on it or what it might be worth?

I have seen these surface from time to time in shops in my area, and I strongly suspect that they are fairly recent in manufacture, say the 1980's.
While I am not a milk bottle collector, this is my gut feeling on these.

Does it have a ledge inside the lip for a cardboard milk cap to be placed? If not, it's probably new.

Agreed. I think it's a repro made just for "pretty".
