I aquired a lucky strike cigarete metal tin (garage sale). It has a little rust on the exterior. The interior has more. What method of removal would give the best results. Electrolysis or lemon juice? I would not like to damage or dull the color that is existing. The inside has some text that i was hoping to reveal. If anyone knows or can lead me in the right direction i would appreciate it. I put three picture up. First the front ,then the inside, then the back.

I think it's in great shape "As Is". Almost everything is still legible, has great color and the rust is minimal. Personally, I wouldn't mess with it.

Don't use Electrolysis it might lift color and all . I use it on old car parts and it lifts paint along with rust .
