My source says the maker could be: "Mallinckrodt Chemical Works" (ca. 1880 - 1920) Mfg. pain remedies since 1880's. Also involved in tax evasion and prescription opioid scandal ! Still in business but maybe shouldn't be.
Bottle is very similar to "Ely's Balm" (?)
