Marine Eye Remedy is a interesting one from digging.
"Murine" is still in business making ophthalmic products. Their ads were common on TV as I recall from my younger years.

I always found it interesting when digging to find a product that I was already familiar with had been around for many decades, Listerine and Three-In-One oil being a couple examples that come to mind. I began hunting and shooting in my youth, which made a favorite find of a Hoppe's No. 9 (gun cleaning solvent) bottle even though there was nothing remarkable about the small, colorless bottle itself.

Well they certainly changed with the times, I don't think putting morphine in your eyes is a good thing. I agree some common bottles bring back early memories.

I've been shocked to find out from time to time that this company or that, with a contemporary sounding name, has been around since, say 1905. For example, Colgate toothpaste has been around since 1873.
[Just to throw some confusion in the water, in the map-collecting business the term "contemporary coloring" means a map that has been colored around the time it was issued, which might be 1610 or 1820, etc.]

That's why most of us walk in rivers that stink, have leeches, snakes and dumps that well have a lot of hazards, to find interesting things from the past and maybe get lucky and find something of value.

Nice finds Mailman1960. I think you should be awarded another maroon stripe for your uniform. Special recognition should be in order for the Dead Concert pic! Thanks!!
