MARBLE IN BOTTLE

I CAME ACROSS A BOTTLE BY E.P.SHAW CO.,WAKEFIELD AND IT HAS A MARBLE IN THE NECK OF THE BOTTLE.ITS QUITE DIFFERENT.ITS CLEAR.ANY INPUT ON VALUES AND HISTORY.

from the description i would saay that you have a codd bottle i think they date from as early as the 1870's but im not an expert on such matters i collect sodas so maybe someone else has more info on it

a picture would help narrow down the age. like spencer said it sounds like a codd. they began use in the later 1800's, but are still being made in places like india.
