Milk bottle??

Found this old milk bottle in a creek by my house, don't have a picture of it at the moment. It says meadowbrook dairies then below that it says dyersburg and union city. I cant believe that this jug is pre 1900 but the seam doesnt seem to go all the way through the lip. I am wondering if anyone has any information on this bottle and can tell me whether it is actually pre 1900 or if I just cant see the seam.
