What (or who!) is the best reference for BIM Mineral / Soda bottles? I recently aquired a batch with about 10 old water bottles, about a half Californian, and my four different editions of Kovels aren't providing the information needed. Google isn't doing much better....

Thanks for the help,
Barbara

That was quick...thanks!
I'm really interested in the history, though a rough idea of value is always nice.

Hummmm..there are ~1500 Philadelphia firms listed and only ~150 San Francisco. No wonder it seems like all the good bottles are back east!
Anyway, was able to find all but 4 listed there, so I've gotten a great start.

Thanks for the offer Jim. I spent a bit more time on the computer and was able to find references to the rest of the companys these bottles represent...from Waial-ua in Hawaii to Dyottville in Philadelphia. If values seem impossible to find I'll be back with more questions!

Back to the original question: what book is considered the best mineral / soda reference? Is there anything similar to Zumwalt's 'Ketchup Pickles Sauces' out there? All the information and pictures in that book are priceless!
