Mini Oil Lamp

Here's a nice little lamp I have, it's 6" tall from the base to the top of the chimney and has "Night Watch embossed on it. I love this thing.

That is a nice little piece. We had a small collection of non-electric lighting devices at one time but never ran across this one. Thanks for sharing.

I dug the chimney in an old river bed and the base years later in a privy, a local collector helped me out with the hardware.

A fact I personally appreciate a lot about this lamp is the privy the base came from was for a house that had definite underground railway connections, The lamp isn't old enough but the privy it was in had good age to it.
