JOHN...they're about a 10 - 12 ounce capacity and black glass...base only is embossed with "Mission Orange" and something else...Dry?... (can't remember)....I imagine they had a paper label, but have yet to see one.
Hi the glass wasn't black it was the label, these bottles are extremely common. The one I have here is an older version, not sure if they are common or not, it's from the Dr. Pepper plant in Alpine, TX. As for the glass you are thinking about Orange Crush, they had amber glass to protect the drink from the sunlight.

Been trying to find a pic...they are slender & tapering towards the mouth...plain slick sides....base only is embossed.....black is actually a very dense amber....not amethyst as one may think, nor olive.
