Moxie Nerve Food Bottle Registered 0 information

Found this bottle in the mudflats. Just wondering the history/rarity behind this particular bottle. The bottle says “Moxie Trademark Nerve Food” across the front and “Registered 0” along the bottom. On the back it simply says “Moxie”. I know about Moxie being from ME but was curious on what the “Registered 0” meant. Couldn’t find much information. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. Nice find. Much info can be found on Wikipedia about their history. It's a common bottle, but that one looks pretty clean.

Basically, Registered was put on liquid consumables to indicate that the producer was in accordance with state and local laws for health and safety of their products as indicated by an inspection and certification. 0 may have been a mould number or type for the bottle.
