Found this bottle a few days ago. I don't know how rare it is from this town and it is a 6 1/2 ounce one. For anyone who has the coke guide, what does the book say on it?

Porter's Coke Book calls it common but scarce as a D-Patent. LEON.

It's either a commertive bottle,or named after a location? This bottles date's 1960's are after when they had the dash in between the names.Old cokes the lettering on the bottom of the bottle is ALWAYS in BIG print with no line for spacing for the city!

who said it was as old as a D-Patent? D-Patents are 1938-51, 6 oz's about 51-57 & 6 1/2 oz's about 58-65.

I'll rephrase this comment. Porter's Book calls your 6 1/2 oz. bottle Common. BUT, Porter's Book calls the Mt. Sterling Coke in the D-Patent form (which is NOT your Bottle) Scarce. Hope that clears up any confusion??????
Sorry. I knew you definitely knew this but it didn't come across that way in text so I was trying to just say so. I mean if you don't know then we are all screwed. Jk
