Mud Flats Find 4-15-11

Probe the mud again today and finally found what I was looking for...Found my first Hutchinson Soda of 2011 I was stoked!!!...E.P.CO. EWA & a amethyst WHITTEMORE BOSTON...E.P.CO. is (EWA PLANTATION CO.)

Bottles cleaned up real nice...

The first bottle I found was the WHITTEMORE BOSTON, the bottle is amethyst in color, does anyone know what this particular bottle was used for? Thanks.

The whittemore was a shoe blacking,polish.

The Whitmore was a polish. Often we find em up here with the brush inside. Nice color on that one though. Sometimes they come in honey amber and citron. Nice find.

Real nice Earl...glad your mud flats keep coughing up bottles...Cool hutch and always like to find the whittemores,...last one I dug was an early aqua...
