Over the weekend I was fortunate enough to go and a dig a few pits with Mark Youngblood (MINNESOTADIGGER). We had a great time, and even found some stuff! I was also luckynto share this experience with my little brother. The dig took place behind a circa 1880s house in Red Wing Minnesota. We dug three pits, with the oldest touching the 1890s and the newest gave up ABM stuff. It was a great day, and I sure am feeling it in my back and arms. We dug a few damaged local druggists and a perfect rare Kyllo druggist. We also got a couple pumpkinseed flasks and an unembossed coffin that had mark doing the happy dance for a little bit. The first pit was the best, and we are thinking it may have been a privy whereas the other two were trash pits. The first few pictures are when the pit was being opened up.
