Here's a picture of my smallest embossed bottle.
It is embossed on all 4 sides of the bottle.
A.S. HINDS
PORTLAND, ME.
HONEY AND ALMOND CREAM
ALCOHOL 7 %
CAP. 1 1/2 FL.DR.
Hi Woody,
A S HINDS hand cream bottle. Probably free sample bottle. They were in business from late 1800's til at least the 1930's. Larger sizes are common but tiny ones are harder to find.

I've dug the larger sizes, Cliff, but this was the first sample size I've found.
It's a wonder I didn't miss it.
This is an early ABM sample, as the line goes to the top of the bottle.
I have been collecting samples and miniatures for many years. They take a lot less space and lots are missed by diggers. Here is a picture of some of my indelible inks I have dug. Left "CARTERS INDELIBLE INK" 1 3/4 in. next "DJ", then "FK" I believe F. KIDDER indelible ink, last unembossed. Three short ones are all pontilled just little over 1 1/4 in tall. Must have been a job to make these in pontil times.

now i gotta try to get a pic of this one i dug last year, its the size of a fingernail!
it has weed or tweed on it?......................about 1/2 and inch or so....
