Found this in the Red River years ago. The bottle is completely clear, there are bubbles everywhere throughout the whole bottle. The seam stops & then the mouth continues, all the way to the opening. No embossing/markings at all, except for thousands of bubbles.

What I'd like to know is, approximately how old, value & maybe what was held in it at some point.

Thank you for viewing this post!

P.S. I am new to bottle collecting, I'm learning as I go. Please excuse my ignorance on the subject.

The mouth opening, you can somewhat see a few of the bubbles I mentioned.

You can slightly see where the seam stops, just before the mouth.

And this is the bottom, it looks dark but it's just as clear as the rest of bottle.

That looks to me like an early 1900's ketchup bottle.. it's pretty big for one, but looks like a catsup..

early 1900's ketchup bottle

Thanks for taking a jab at it! Considering there's no markings, I was afraid no one was going to comment.
I'll definitely look into ketchup bottles and see what I can dig up! I appreciate it!

Hey Ariel,

Looks like a TOC Wine bottle. "Value" is minimal, bubbliciousness is mighty.

The flash is seldom a good tool in photographing bottles, especially clear ones. It seems to wash out those important details and gives em those whiteout strips.

Thank you for the tips & info! I will start going with natural light instead of the flash, thanks again for the tips!

Try taking your pics on a window sill with the sky as your background...Jim
