I dug this fire-extinguisher type bottle recently. I would date it to the mid-late 1910s based on the other bottles it was with. It is embossed "Fill to Line" on the front, and L.A.F. / F.E. Co. on the base. I'm almost positive that the last part stands for Fire Extinguisher Co., but have no clue what company it was. Any ideas?

I would guess that it held the acid used in the soda/acid fire extinguishers. You know the ones, had to turn it up side down to activate it, this dumped the acid out and the resulting reaction would pressurize the device.
