Need help identifying please....

Hi All,Could anyone steer me in the right direction on this bottle ; there are no markings at allon it. The seams go about half way up the neck then veer off and fizzle out before they get to the rim.Stands about 7 1/2" and is 1 3/4" x 1 3/8" rectangular.TnksDave

Hi Dave welcome back. That's a sauce of some kind. I don't know what to call the form, maybe semi-cathedral?The seams veer off like that as the lip is tooled.Nice looking bottle.

HERE is what looks like the larger size of your bottle, his asking price is probably too high.

Thank you two for the response - I'll go with that info.I rec'd a couple more boxes of bottles to dispose of for someone who inherited them ; but ,like me ,doesn't know much at all about them. I will probably be on here a few more times looking for info on bottles I can't figure out.......Thanks again !!

While I fully agree that your bottle is a Pepper Sauce, you should be aware that some similarly shaped bottles were Cologne bottles. The decoration is usually what sets them apart. That mold is not as common as many and may bring a premium with Pepper Sauce collectors.
