Need help with Cincinnati Bottle

New to forum, truely a great site with all the information & stories of discoveries. recently, my teenage son has been digging an old dump that he discovered a few months ago bringing home bottles, jars, pottery jugs, etc.. he has asked if I could post this bottle up to see if anyone can help identify it. The color is an aqua blue, 3 piece blown mold, applied top, the bottom is rounded with a flat spot the size of a half dollar & a strong embossed reversed 7 or a check mark, we cant find anything on the makers mark on any of the other sites. the embossing is very bold. the bottle is 9 3/4" long & 2 3/4" wide. Any information would be greatly appriciated.

Hello , I have one of them myself , to my understanding its a soda bottle . Looks like he is digging in a pretty decent dump , will look forward to more posts of more bottles he uncovers !

Hello L C & thank you for the reply. are these bottles fairly common ? he has spent a lot of time on the computer looking & watching ebay for one to show up so he would know what it was. Thanks for the info.

I look at eBay now and then and seldom ever see any sodas from Cincinnati . Honestly , I can not give you an estimated value on this bottle . I have never seen one for sale nor have I seen any sold to get any idea of the value of them . As for seeing them , I have only seen four of them in all my years of collecting , three like yours , as well as one in amber . I have only been to one bottle show , so I do not know if any of them show up in the shows or not .

Thank You Guys! You all have got him pumped up now, he is going out today to dig. Pr.orders from his mother, we converted a room in the barn for all his finds. He has some more bottles we will post later on.
