Two new half gallons. The aqua has very crude lettering as well as some weird whittle. The green has the most intense swirls that I have seen.

HI again George. I always check out your jars, because you find some neat ones.

This time I would like to see a clearer pictures of these two. It would also be helpful seeing he embossed lettering shown, because I couldn't make our all of the lettering. I guess I lost the thread. I will go back into the page. RED Matthews

Back - I don't know what happened. The one on the left with the weird whittle, makes me thing of the mold material question. I recently got another bottle that I am sure was made in a ceramic mold. This is what come to mind looking at yours. Anyway, I like your collection of different markings in glass products. RED Matthews

Hi Red,
I do most of my picture taking in daylight but here are a couple of flash shots of the lettering on the one jar. I will get a few more pictures in sunlight. The swirling on the green jar is quite different from most of that which I have seen.

Here are a few more pictures of the green jar. Most of the lines are a groove in the center with the displaced material forming ridges that are above the jar surface. The knurling on the threads continues along the entire thread. There is a very faint amber swirl.
