Thanks guys more where these guys came in a little time. I have been cataloging and labeling everything in my collection should I meet my demise unexpectedly and my family needs to unload all of my crap. It is something I have been putting off that needed to be addressed.

This thing seems sort of similar to the other stuff shown here, not sure of the use, age or origin...

Big funky pontil, looks rather early.

3 piece mold. Any thoughts?

Early Salt Shaker Tom and somewhat ornate. You can see where a pewter perforated top fit over the Ferrel type of neck. I would say 1835 to 1845. Nice!! Is it a recently dug piece?

No, came from a collection I bought from a local digger a few years ago. Where he dug it, I have no idea, except it would have been somewhere in the area.
