Hi Dawny and welcome to the forum !
Do you have any diving equipment ?
Florida is a great place to dive and look for bottles.
Or if you don't have diving equip. and you have a small boat ........ I used to go out in Tampa Bay and look in the mangroves along the edges of little islands that were scattered throughout the Bay. And we found alot of great bottles! You'd be suprised how many wash up along the shore and get trapped in the mangroves. It was especially good right after a Hurricane or Strong storm came thru or near the Bay.
Some suggestions anyway !!!!

You know what I was thinking might be useful for finding bottles in shallow water? A glass bottom kayak. Believe it or not, they exist!

Ready for this? im affraid to go in the water lol
put me in a pool, i will dive to the bottom and swim like a fish, but the thought of some large barricuda or shark swiming over to bite me.. keeps me out of the salt water,
but the mangroves i might consider if i can find a good "low" spot lol
i know im a chicken... maybe one day i can find someone to go with and lessen my fear.

im used to poking around the woods and old properties getting ashy
even after 2 years i still feel out of place down here.
I guess its time to move on and learn some new things
maybe spill the beans about some of my spots from NJ and NY
