I just got a new jake for my collection and it is the most unusual one I've ever seen. It is the tradional "shape" of a jake, however it is 1/2 the size, standing only 4 3/8" tall. The embossing is different too, on the front, but vertically on the edges. It reads: THURBER'S PURE ESS. // JAMAICA GINGER, on the bottom is more embossing: H. K. & F. B. THURBER & CO. NEW YORK (around the edge of the bottom), in the center of the bottom is O NEW.

Can anyone help me out here? Have you ever seen one before?
