Hey Jeff. I was also wondering about the Jarhead - Navy connection. My beloved Nephew, 20 years Navy and his Dad, my beloved late Brother-in Law, (more Brother than my biological Brother) a 22 year career Marine (Drill Sargent type), had many lovingly heated discussions to the delight of us spectators.

Anyway, you're going to fit in here fine, I can tell. This is a GREAT group, very knowledgeable and with all the time I have spent in the hobby I still learn a LOT from these young whippersnappers. Some are computer research GENIOUSES. Just wish I could entice them to help me out with my quest. [;)]

Oh yea, I started with bottles and the Wife only became interested in bottles / jars when I brought a jar home. So I can relate but I encourage you to cultivate that aspect. It's beneficial in many ways and jars are also really neat. Like they say: "If MaMa ain't happy ain't nobody happy".
