I am looking for any colored New Orleans whiskey cylinders from before 1900.
Also collect sealed N.O. and southern wines.
Also collect shoulder embossed southern colored whiskey cylinders.
Have you seen any sealed american bitter cylinders: whole or broken?
How about a Donaldsonville shoulder embossed black glass whishey cylinder?

We dug one very badly broken peychard's American bitters with shoulder seal and pontiled, a Seignouret shoulder seal with eagle, and last week we dug some kind of whiskey (I did not look at the seal good) but the top and neck broken off, It is New Orleans, smooth base in black glass, next week when we split them up I will check to see which one it is. No bottles from other louisiana towns as of yet, In fact its very rare to find any New Orleans whiskeys. If I come across any i will give you a e-mail.

I have a CONSUMERS S & M WATER MFG CO. LT'D NEW ORLEANS LA. Along the outside bottom it reads THIS BOTTLE NOT TO BE SOLD The bottom has a slight depression and a very large C. The top is pretty fat and round. All lettering is embossed. Do you have any info about this bottle by chance?

I must have missed your post, but you bottle is Consumers Seltzer & mineral water manufacturing Co. Ltd. I show them in business from 1892-1930. It sounds like you have a blob top and that would be the 1892-1900 period. Values on these bottles are about $10.00 in good condition. Hope this helps and sorry it took so long to answer you post.
