New to collecting. Is this pontil?

The iron pontil and open pontil went out of use about 1858. In the Philadelphia/south jersey area at least.
The use of the snap case which produced smooth base bottles. Quickly over took the industry across the country.
So basically no pontils after 1860.

Until you said it had no embossing, I would've sworn it was a "Clarke & Co. New York" mineral water. Beauty nonetheless.
