Herp, I'd say you have a 1915-1930's era dump from the pics of the bottles. The silverware appears to be silverplate from the pic. There are some great finds in this era dumps, and there might be older stuff deeper. I'd give it a try and see what it gives up. Good Luck.

hi herphandler, nice finds. in the 3rd pic is that a heinz bottle? the one with the rope edge. if it is, that's a good bottle. good luck, rhona

Guess that could be a very late blobtop beer, but I am thinking more TOC to 30's for this dump - that type of Scott's Emulsion is earlier I think too, by 1910 or so I think they had switched to the famous/infamous man-holding-codfish/cap top bottle.

Clean that blobtop up and post a photo: In my mind any dump yielding blobs is worth a concentrated digging effort.

The clear beer bottle second from the left - are me eyes playin' tricks on me again or is that a blobber?
