I picked this Hemingray 42 up at a flea market for a buck. Love the Dragon fangs and this one isnt embossed with Hemingray - 42. It does have made in the USA but thats it. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic but you can get the picture. You guys ever seen one like this?

The only thing close in the insulator I.D. / price guide are with (front) HEMINGRAY - 42 (rear) MADE IN U.S.A. & (front) MADE IN U.S.A. (REAR) MADE IN U.S.A. I would say look very closely at what you call the unembossed side and see if you can detect very light embossing. Yours has weak rear embossing so it's possible that the front embossing is very faint. If it's not there I think you have an unlisted variant. The double MADE IN U.S.A. variant is pretty pricey.

I cannot see any embossing in your first picture.
