Weather this morning was a nice High 20's degrees but no Snow so Me & Tom went back to our Privy #12 location to try & find Privy #13. Instead we found a shallow 3 foot Trash Pit that was full of nothing but Clinkers. SO, Dug another Trash pit that was wide & seemed to cover he whole back yard. No Clinkers but lots & lots of white Ash but only a thin 3-4 inch layer. In this hole we found a few bottles maybe 15 but only 2 were pretty good ones. We found a killer good Howe & Schultz Mug base Hutch from Wyandotte. Found a funny looking Flask also. Pic below. LEON.

Cleaned Pic. A nice one, no chips or cracks. maybe just needs a light polishing tumble to look like new. Some slight case wear. LEON.

Whoaaaa, Then, we hit a big peice of Concrete that seemed to be all along 3 sides of our hole about 1 foot under ground. We dug under this concrete floor. Thats were Tom found the Hutch. Then I got in & tunneled even more under big chunk of Concrete. Then I see it, A killer bottle stuck under the concrete floor. I had to look upside down at it on the ceiling. I told Tom, TOM, Stick your head in here up under this concrete floor & look at that beautiful site, Tom said oh no, I'm not sticking my head under there. He was afraid it would collapse on him. Could be painfull. I assured him he'll want to see this. He said no repeatedly. Slowly I convince him it was worth sudden death. SO, He took a peek & this is what he seen. LEON.

As you can see that is a dangerous overhang, and I was right, a few moments later the whole thing collapsed. Tom

Like Leon said, most of the back of that yard is all filled with clinkers (spent coal & ash) 4 to 6 feet deep. Not sure where to dig next. Maybe there is good bottles mixed in with the clinkers ? Tom

We did a coin flip for who got the stoneware and Leon called heads, I flipped and it was tails. I picked the Marsh & Son with the pick. Here is the bottles I took home. Along with the stoneware I picked a old blob with a M on the base, Does any one seen a M like that on the base. Is that a bottle makers mark or a old brewery name like one of the Marx beers we dug up before. Also a strange decanter bottle and a old mug. Tom
