O Lord. Overpricing out the roof.

It seems whenever I want to buy a good SS Coca Cola or an embossed Pepsi they are ALWAYS overpriced. These are some Shinnstons pretty rare, but not THIS rare:

All the same seller...Oh well, if somebody buys em, they deserve the buyers regret after seeing them 2 months later for $100. Sorry, this just makes me upset.

Nobody is gonna pay those prices. Forget about those and wait for something reasonable to come up.

Obviously, some are more reasonably priced than others. I'm just going by Ayer's book prices on them. Plus any resale value.

I laugh at the thought that someone would pay big money for a "RARE" Pespi, especially on ebay. I don't know what goes through the minds of those people about to bid $1500 on those...probably that State Farm commercial: "They can't put anything on the internet that isn't true."

I'm sure you can find those bottles in antique stores for $50 at most. A fool and his money are soon parted, as they say.

Children say the damndest things don't they....................................see if your mom can't take ya to your local antique store and get us a few. They book for between $250.00 and $800.00 so w/ your paltry $50.00 investment you should do well...............................................tell your mom that, she'll be gassing up the mini van in no time.

I don't know how many people here are keeping up w/ 'Pepsi' bottles, but the word in the bottle world, soda that is, a Prince from Qatar is buying them up in a large way. Has a guy in N.Y.C. acting as a purchasing agent doing all the leg work. So what's happening is people are sticking rare to HTF 'Pepsi' bottles on ebay w/ un-holy prices on them hoping to get a hit from some young shiek w/ more $$$$$$$$$$ than sense.
