I included this bottle in a post a couple months ago but did not get any more info. Thought I would try putting this on it's own post and see if I can find out anything else about it. Common or rare? Why is there no name for the beverage? Anyone have any other examples of ACLs with just a picture and no writing on the front? Thanks!

Jay ~

I'm mainly tagging this thread to get updates ... plus I think I speak for others as well when I say I saw that bottle somewhere recently. It was (I believe capped) and filled with orange drink. But it may have been the one you mentioned posting earlier. I don't know the brand, but I bet it's from either Florida or California. Lol [:D]

Good luck ... And I also bet Morb or one of the other Virginia area collectors will recognize it.

Hey Jay ~

That's weird ... I was right in the middle of posting this when you posted your totally cool 'Lake Erie' bottle on the Rare/Favorite thread.

I still can't recall where I saw that full/capped photo of your 'orange' Dr Pepper bottle, but I did find this that "may" be related. This is from a current e-Bay listing by the same name on the label. No direct link available, but you can check it out if you think there is a connection ... ??? (Doubtful) ???

Bob,

I would like to see the capped/full bottle that you mentioned if you happen to come across it. I have not seen another bottle like this but the first thing I thought was how cool this would look with the orange soda in it. I thought someone closer to that area would know something about it but no luck so far. That's a cool label you posted though I'm not sure I see any connection other than it being an orange soda. I appreaciate the input and let me know if you come up with anything else.

Jay ~

From the onset I have been racking my brain as to where I saw it. I have already searched the A-B.net archives and didn't find anything, but I honestly believe it was right here where someone posted a photo of it. And if not here than perhaps on e-Bay some time back. Of course it would be gone now. It has been bugging me to no end, and I will definitely let you know if/when I find it again, or one like it. And you are right, it was the coolest thing with the orange color showing through the label!
