Odd cure bottle

Hi, need some help on this one. Some of you might have seen my first post, but here is a better picture of the bottle. I picked this bottle up over the weekend up here in Ontario. I dont see many/any cure bottles really up here, so it was surprising to find. It is embossed "Himalya, The Kola Compound, Natures Cure for Asthma, New York, Cincinnati" As you can see in the pic, it is a nice amber colour, and it is 7 1/4 " high. I havn't been able to find much on it, other then a bit of random stuff on the internet, as well as a 1995 Kovels price of $65 dollars. Anybody know anything about it?? Let me know please if you do!

I've seen a few of them around in New England, though I wouldn't call them common. It's not listed in Bill Agee's cure book. Hang onto it and it will be worth having someday. Right now I don't think it would reach the price listed by Kovels', but who knows.

Its a scarce but not rare cure. The value depends a lot on the color. They come in various shades of amber. A medium amber might only sell for about $20 while a yellow amber may sell for $70. Kovel's doesnt give you much specifics on the bottles so it hard to say what they based that value on.

Its listed in Odells 2002 medicines and in my price guide. Its not listed in Agee's All Cures, dont know if its in his other books I only have that one.

Hi, I am new on the forum and don't know yet how to post links nor do I know peoples names but I saw a bottle just like this on ebay currently at 5 bucks. Maybe it's you, maybe not, just htought I would mention it.

It appears Mr Lynch is selling that one. Even those small chips hurt value.

That one isnt the exact same as mine, as that one in the ebay auction has a panel on the front it looks like. Mine is just flat, im guessing that would make it a later bottle.... maybe?

I think yours may be a bit earlier without the recessed panel. The embossing looks more crude on yours.
