old apothacary vile?

I got this today. I think it's an old lab or apoth. vile. It's amythest blue. Turn mold (no seams). It looks like maybe it had a ground glass stopper in it but thats long gone. It might have just had a cork. It's a little beat up but I think it's great. It has a mark on the bottom that resembles a Chinese caligraphy character. Please also see the pics of my poison bottle in the poison forum. It's added at the very end of the thread that I posted a day or two ago.

That is a nice, big cobalt! It was most likely a chemist or apothecary-type bottle, or possibly an ammonia. Whatever it is, it has a nice, big size and killer color. ~Jim

A vial is a small cylindrical bottle, yours appears to be a large reagent or chemical container. The mark on the bottom is likely the glassmaker mark, what does it look like?
