old milk bottle?

I recently bought this milk bottle at an estate sale. I have not been able to find any information about it. It has an eagle on the front with 13 stars around it. The bottle is 6 3/4" high. On the bottom it says "1898", then it has a "K" and a "5" below it. I was wondering if this bottle is really that old, or if it is a reproduction. Any information
would be greatly appreciated about the possible value, origin, etc.
