Hi Everybody
These two bottles are made of a beautiful glass and there are no seems at all? There is no embossing just plain. Are they old or new and what did they contain?. Any help would be great.
Thanks
Kim
I've always thought that these bottles are wine bottles that were "turned in the mold" so that there are no mold seams.
Usually kick up bottoms, like the bottle on the left, are associated with wine bottles.
The one on the right is probably wine or some other alcoholic beverage.
I've always refered to bottles like the one on the right as whiskey bottles, both types where probably multi-use bottles though for whatever grog they needed bottles for at the time.
Hi
Thanks Irish,Woody and Slimdigger. I almost threw these bottles into the recycle bin, the only reason I didn't was the glass is so nice, I might just put them back with the rest of the bottles.
Thanks again
