This is a very pretty bottle, regardless. It's not a poison. Chemist bottle looking perhaps, but the base has me wonding if this is a newer piece. Since most poisons came after the pontil erra, we dont have a one with a pontil. So spotting "fakes" are not as easy for me. Hard to see if there is base wear or not...there is something.... I like the look of the bottle regarless.

It is a pretty common British apothecary bottle. I think it is what they call a 'syrup' mouth and they had a loose fitting non-ground stopper. They were made over a very long period of time. They usually have pharmacy labels and could have held anything from honey to poison.
