What makes you think it a soup bowl? More focused, daylight photos of the base and the rest of the transfer, and handle may tell us more. Handled soup bowls are sorta out of the ordinary...

I cant help myself that is a "Super Bowl".
Bad Pun aside can you tell me is the rim supposed to be that way or is it damaged? I cant tell from the picture.Could it be a chamber pot? It is certainly from a time gone by, although I do see the legging look coming back.

The rim was chipped And I was not positive on what it was it was to big to call it a cup it very well could have been a gravy bowl right ? I have sold this on eBay it sold for $9
