Embossed in the Glass reads:
P.J. Weniger & Co.
Wine & Liqquor Merchants
San Francisco, Cal.

On the bottom it reads:
211 B

Found in an old Alaskan settlement.
We would like to find more info about the bottle and it's price. Thanks a lot!
Have a good day!

I sent your pic and info to a friend of mine that is a well known Western Flask collector .
I will post what he says about your flask as soon as I hear back from him. Brian

Hi again Awysocki ,
It seems your flask pic doesn't match your description of the embossing !!!!!
I sent your pic and description to a friend and here was his reply . Hi Brian!

The PJ Weniger is an "available" flask-- probably 5 or more of the pint and of the 1/2-pint. Value in reasonably clean condition and no damage $165-200.00.

The flask you have pictured is not the Weniger and it is one that I do not recognize, although all I can clearly make out is the address. As an unlisted 'seed from the City, it would interest me in the $300.00 range if clean and no damage.

See you in a couple of weeks in Memphis!

Ralph

If you wish to sell the flask you have pictured ? I can give you Ralph's email address and you guys can maybe work something out. Brian

Brian S.,
Hello, can we get Ralph's e-mail. We have two similar flasks, and put the wrong description for the PJ Weniger flask, but had the Hotel Stewart flask in the picture. They are both from San Fran. We are considering selling them, but we need Ralph's e-mail to send him some better pictures. Thanks for forwarding me to him. Have a pleasant day Brian.

Ahh, so what happened here?
Did Mr. Van Brocklin buy one or both of these flasks?

A couple-three years ago, Ralph came by my house and photographed my San Francisco flask collection for his eventual book on the subject...
