This has been a great time digging in this dump. I know it cant last forever, but we have been systematic at it. Trying to not miss any zones. I think I may get the Jar tumbled before selling it. It didnt clean up too good. The jug needs some further cleaning. Its got some light rust. Here's a pic of the quart apple green Ball Mason i dug a month or so ago. Its even more green then I could get to show in a picture.

A few weeks back I dug this Cobalt Acker's English Remedy. Never seen one this big. 6.5" tall. Nice and crude. I put it in the collection.

Whoah, awesome digs you have going there! The blobs are great and the stenciled stoneware items are spectacular, probably my favorite class of items to pull out of a dump.

You say you got other jugs from the place, so if you want to provide a line-up I would like to ogle over the finds. [:)]

Wow, nice variety of stuff coming out of there. My old Redbook #9 lists the quart aqua at $125-150 but it had a fancy clamp that's a lot of the value-still I'd love to dig one!

I only got out for about 3 hrs. on Fri. to dig. It was 28 degrees when I bushwacked my way in to the dump. Here's a group shot of what I carried out.

We've found several Kilmers Swamp Root Bottles, still waiting to find the one with the Lungs on it. The Pint flask is earlier and cruder then most we have dug. This one is applied top, and onle has one mold seam down the side. Orange Amber. Looks like it was made in one of the New England Glasshouses.

I dug this M. Salzman / Purity Above All, Handled Jug the other day, but couldnt carry it out. Its got a greenish glaze on the upper part, and the stencil is green as well. We have dug them in the past, with black stencil. Its in good shape with just one ding in the base center. I will try to get a pic. on when its cleaned up.

Its funny how often when I dig a cavern in these dumps, I will either be standing on my best find all morning, or as I pull my wall in the best bottles comes from 6" under the surface. This was my find of the day yesterday, and I must admit it was under my feet with just a few inches of dump between my boots and it. Its a nice Carter's Master in orange amber, with a pattern around the base. I was just shy of where the water flows in, and by not digging that last few inches, I was staying dry. My digging buddy has dug this in aqua as well.
