Take the back of or open it if it is attached and get a good close up of the movement and a pic of the front. I will let you know what I can about it if it is American made.

This is what I got.....

It is an Elgin 16 size 3 finger bridge 17 jewel (clear jewels are diamond and the red are ruby both in gold settings) hunter case watch (flip open front and back) with a gold train, (all the wheels are gold) adjusted in nine positions (heat ,cold, isochronism and 6 positions the watch can be put in, face up, face down, stem up, stem down, stem left, stem right) This means that the watch is antimagnetic, temperature doesn’t bother it and it will run in any position. It is not shock resistant and I would not carry it in my pocket or get it near a magnet. No matter what any one or any book says. The metals used back then were top quality for their time BUT I have had to demagnatize a few to get them running and it is common pratice to demagnatize any pocket watch leaving the shop.

Made between May 4, 1903 to April 15, 1904 and there were 1 million or so made.

Value about $150 to $200 in that case. Very good find.
