What makes you worried about the color? It looks good to me!

Hi, I wouldn't bother. I would like to know more about your objective interest. I know that I have a lot of jars like that in my NY cellar. Most of them are still filled with some of my wife's old canning.

If you are interested in jars, then it is understandable, but the value isn't there - but having some to get acquainted with them is OK. RED Matthews

I collect jars because I enjoy them. I dont do it for the value per se, if I get lucky and get a valuable one, then it's a bonus. Just wondered if this one looked
'nuked' to anyone. I always though that the nuked jars were very dark, but have since learned that they come in the lighter hues as well...just interested in opinions

Not nuked in my opinion. Atlas had alot of Sky Blue jars. Common but good looking jar. Would be a keeper for me!

This is the way to go about collecting. Make sure you get what appeals to YOU, and don't worry too much about other things. Using a forum like this is good to gather info or ask questions, but make your own decisions based on what you like, and what you want to collect.

Like others have said, this jar is relatively common, but the color and shape are very nice. It does not look nuked to me. If the price fits with your desire, go for it!

I`m in the collect for fun camp and do not collect for profit. I would have bothered with that one, love the color. Good to see others who collect for the sheer enjoyment and don`t toss something cool back just because it may not have a great monetary value. I watched a BBC show called Mud Men recently on you tube...lots of fun and for those guys it`s the historical value not the money. I collect Japanese antiques and I buy what interests me and when I see something I like I think about the life it had, who made it, who handled it, where it`s been....I don`t think....gee, hope I can make a buck off this.
