Peppersauce Bottle?

Hi everyone! This is one the young man and I pulled out of our dump this summer. Nothing special. I told him it is a peppersauce, but wonder if any of you could let us know what it really is, and what it contained. Most of what we find in this dump is mid-late 1800's, there used to be a school house up the road and I think the trash preceeded a bridge across the creek. This one minus label is in perfect condition, the long neck is kind of crooked and the glass is wavy with bubbles. It is attractive. I know it isn't worth much, but curious to what it is. (anyone have one with the label still on it?)
It almost looks like an old Bo Peep blueing bottle, but I'm guessing foodstuff? Thanks. (in advance)

I'd say it was indeed peppersauce or maybe a salad oil [] , nice looking bottle.
