The diamond bottle looks like a Patio bottle.

"This is a very neat item - half of a Pepsi bottle mold. Notice how the bottle fits the swirls perfectly. This mold was used for 10 ounce size. Not sure if the other half would have been still connected to the casting machine? It is extremely heavy for it's size, which I'm sure it had to be to absorb heat and the pressure from the casting. There are markings on the mold - "58" on the top left hand side and on the bottom of the bottle would show "3 B 71" with "5" just below. This mold weighs 22lbs an measures 10 1/4" (H) X 4 1/8" (W) X 4 3/4" (D)."

Here's the Ebay listing of the criss-cross diamond bottle that Bob posted
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181205393388?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

Though I do think this is a rarer bottle, I don't think it's a $100 bottle...not to me anyways.

IF I had to bet money, the bottle maker either made to many Patio style bottles or an order got reduced, or something along those lines and ended up with too many of the diamond pattern bottles and decided to print the Pepsi label on them. I emailed the seller to see what year it was produced, this may be a clue as to whether it could be a patio bottle.

If that's the inside of the bottle mold, would that make the swirls go to the right?

Yes ... Its sort of an optical illusion but the mold is reversed and the finished bottle would swirl to the right. I'm not all that familiar with Brockway Glass Company marks, nor what the '58' might be that the guy referred to, but I suspect the 71 on the base of the mold indicates 1971.

The image you see on the left would be what the bottle would look like from inside, giving the swirls the look of going left. The image on the right has been flipped horizontally to show the swirls from outside the bottle, as you can see they are swirled to the right....

I give up!

I have looked at over one thousand Pepsi Cola bottles on eBay and elsewhere and have been unable to find a single one where the swirl embossing goes in the opposite direction (to the left). Its difficult to research because no matter how I word it my computer thinks I'm looking for an ordinary swirl bottle and can't seem to figure out exactly what it is I'm searching for. At this juncture I'm thinking it might be the result of a "night shift" prank at the glass factory but even that seems unlikely because it would involve having to create a precisely engraved mold that would require the talents of a skilled craftsman. Whatever the explanation might be, I now stand with the others who feel the bottle is extremely rare.

Base has what looks like a upside down backwards 5, then 68
The A circled, # 2 next to the A
#18 under the above info

P.S. ~

I believe like2adventure's description is our best clue. As far as I know, the Armstrong Cork Company (The A circled) was the first glass company to manufacture the Pepsi Cola swirl bottle. Is it possible the 68 is actually a 58 for 1958?
