Please help identify amber bottle

I found this one diving today. It did not have a lot of growth on it, so it might not be old, but the size seems smaller than most modern bottles. It is 7 1/2 inches tall and has "DL" and "1240 M" embossed on the bottom.

Hey Jon,
I think I have some bad news. Sorry. It looks like you have a machine made crown beer bottle (that originally had a paper label). It is not too rare or valuable. If I found it, I would probably recycle it. Once again, sorry if I sounded too rough. I'm just trying to tell it to you like it is.

Hi Bob,

I didn't think you were being too rough, I appreciate your honesty. I am new to collecting and I've found literally dozens of bottles in the last few days. Some of them appear really old, but others are probably destined to the recycle bin. Thanks for oyur feedback!
