Hi All! I want to first of thank all of the members whom have helped me out in my previous posts! With all of the hours I have spent trying to research bottles, this has been by far the most valuable resource I have found yet. So THANK YOU!!
This is another bottle/decanter I found at a garage sale. It is 8 inches tall, not including the stopper. I am not sure if the stopper is original, although it is what came with it and it fits perfectly.
This bottle/decanter is beautifully simplistic yet complicated. Almost primitive like, with the intention to be sophisticated.
There are no seems that I can tell at all on the bottle. All of the cuts (if that is the right term) are unique with not one being the same as another. There is a section of uncut glass that circles around the lower neck above the shoulder with no seams at all in it. There are a few, not many bubbles in the glass. There is a round polished indention in the bottom(Pontil Mark??) and a single bubble about the size of a very small pea in the same area.
Any Idea on the style, year or any other info on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Again!!!
