See a few pontiled puff's from other posts of digs, and these possibly could a couple. Found during digging underneath of historic building during renovations, these two turned up together just inches apart.

They look like cologne bottles. Could be English from the pontils. I don't know if bottles like that were also made in the US, but if so I would have thought they would have open pontils? Someone correct me if I'm wrong! They often turn up embossed with 'J. M. FARINA / COLOGNE'. Date probably pre-1860.

hey, I find alot of these back home. Ive actually found a few with Paris embossed on them. So i assume that they are french. They seem to be colgne and perfume, as a couple examples i have are embossed with those words. Most of the time they will have a number embosed near the bottom of the bottle. Such as No. 11 or ive also seen a No.8. etc. Nice bottles, im not sure what they are worth though. Ill try to post pics of the variations of the ones i have.

yup colognes, Flint glass, blown in France. I always liked the shape of those. I've dug one embossed Paris but it has a hole in the base...
