I started digging this privy for an opera house but i hit like 4 pits all together and since i was by myself I partially dug this hole and it was more of a test hole and stuff and pulled this out. It was gettn dark so I filled the hole back in and if anybody is in the eastern part of Indiana and would love to come dig and help me finish the pits just let me no. I also have a couple 1860 houses lined up but I cant dig these pits alone. I found a For Pike Peak Historical Flask. Also can somebody tell me more info on the historical flask and give me a value on it.

I can not tell you anything about the value , but that is the First Pike's Peak I have seen with that style of eagle on one side of it . I have one with a hunter on one side , wonder how many different variations there are of the Pike's Peak flasks .

GXI-36, 35, or 34 depending on the size. The half pint is the hardest to find. These are commonly dug in pontiled pits and date to around the 1860's. Good find! Now, go dig the rest of that hole!!!

Very nice flask indeed. The closest I ever came to digging one of those was finding the bottom half of one in an old dump many years ago. Was a beautiful apple green color []
