Guntherhess nailed the era. I remember Little Orphan Annie, Inner Sanctum, The Mysterious Traveler, Lone Ranger, Lets Pretend and many others. Thoes were the days. You never locked Your front door, left the keys in the car. And could buy a real candy bar for a nickle.
