Pretty fun to dig a sign! This one came out of a 1915 era fill layer in a double barrel pit in Delaware. The pit had an older layer in the bottom but the old layer was not laden with artifacts.
Thought it said Playstation. Did some research and it turns out that paystations were inadequit by 1909. Im gonna try to clean it up a bit when I get a chance. We are mad busy at work trying to cost average out commodities that we bought last year. I will repost the finished result of this sign on this thread. Take care and everyone have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday. I shall be posting more finds before the end of the year.
THAT IS REAL NICE BRO,PULLING SIGNS OUT IS COOL.I USED TOO DROP MINE IN SOME OXALIC ACID FOR A LITTLE BATH AND IT USUALLY GETS RID OF THE RUST AND DOESNT TAKE AWAY THE PAINT.I JUST PULLED A PORCELAIN LICENSE PLATE FROM PENNSYLVANIA ITS A 1913 AND I'LL PUT A PICTURE ON LATER TONITE BUT ITS BENT IN HALF .I WANT TO FIX IT BUT DONT KNOW IF I'LL BREAK IT. BADGER
on further inspection, i found out that that sign could be no earlier than december 3rd 1994 and its probably from japan. wonder how it got in a pit in deleware????
