There are a lot of old logging camps in my area from the late 1800's to the early 1900's you just have to find them with a lot of leg work and following up rumors. I find them best using a three prong pitch fork, straighten the prongs, cutting the handle down converting in to a T handle to my height for ease of use. I find a lot of wiskey bottles, different medicine and food bottles. New to the computer, will post pictures when I'm more proficient. NW diggold.

Hi welcome to the forum...I too probe for bottles, your idea of converting a 3 prong pitch fork into a probe sounds like a good idea that I might try, is possible to post a picture of your 3 prong pitch fork probe, thanks
Earl
