I have seen a reproduction or "modern" piece with the same shape as the "bowl" in amber but it had that super glossy look along with other characteristics that make it more obviously modern. I don't see that with this one, but then I don't know a piece about this type of glass. What makes you believe it is new? I know nothing about the taller "vase." I'd be interested to know why this modern too. I know that there are a few British pieces there in the pictures. I like the prussian blue Blackwood. Thanks

Didn't look closely enough at this one first time around. Generally accepted as a small british master ink. Another $50 to $100 piece if undamaged, more or less.
